1. "As-Is" Service

CePAT is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.

2. Not a Tax or Accounting Service

CePAT is a software tool — not a tax consultant, accountant, or legal advisor.

We do not provide tax advice, accounting services, or legal counsel.
We do not verify the accuracy of data you enter into the system.
We do not audit or review your invoices for compliance.
We are not responsible for ensuring your invoices meet LHDN requirements. It is your sole responsibility to ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and e-Invoice regulations.
You should engage a qualified accountant or tax advisor for professional guidance.

3. LHDN & Government Systems

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with LHDN (Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri) or any Malaysian government agency.

CePAT uses the publicly available LHDN MyInvois API to facilitate e-Invoice submissions on your behalf.
We do not control, operate, or guarantee the availability, accuracy, or performance of LHDN systems.
Any changes to LHDN API specifications, e-Invoice regulations, or government policies may affect the Service. We will make reasonable efforts to update the platform accordingly, but we are not liable for delays or disruptions caused by such changes.
Rejection of invoices by LHDN is not our responsibility. You must review LHDN rejection reasons and correct your data accordingly.

4. Third-Party Services

CePAT relies on third-party services that are beyond our control:

Hosting provider: Server uptime, performance, and security are dependent on our hosting provider. We are not liable for server outages, data center failures, or hosting-related issues.
Payment gateway (Billplz): Payment processing is handled by Billplz. We are not liable for payment processing errors, delays, or security issues on their end.
SSL/Security certificates: We use SSL encryption but cannot guarantee against all security threats.
Internet connectivity: The Service requires internet access. We are not responsible for your internet connection issues.

5. Data Accuracy

You are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legality of all data entered into CePAT. This includes but is not limited to:

Company information (name, BRN, TIN, address).
Client and supplier details.
Invoice amounts, tax calculations, and classifications.
MSIC codes and business activity descriptions.
Any other information submitted to LHDN through the platform.

We do not perform any validation of your data beyond basic format checks. Incorrect data submission to LHDN is entirely your responsibility.

6. Software Limitations

The software may contain bugs, errors, or limitations that could affect functionality.
We strive to fix issues promptly but do not guarantee immediate resolution.
New features and updates are provided at our discretion and schedule.
The platform is developed and maintained to the best of our ability, but we make no warranty regarding its fitness for any particular purpose.

7. Maximum Liability

In no event shall D Gift Sdn Bhd's total liability exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim. This limitation applies to all causes of action, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise.

8. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, government actions, changes in law or regulation, cyberattacks, pandemic, internet outages, power failures, or third-party service disruptions.

9. Recommendation

We strongly recommend that you:

Regularly back up your data by exporting invoices and reports.
Verify all invoices before submitting to LHDN.
Consult a qualified accountant or tax advisor for compliance matters.
Keep your LHDN API credentials secure and rotate them periodically.
Review LHDN submission results and address any rejections promptly.
